Complaint Handling Masterclass

Discover what to do when you get a complaint in this online complaint handling masterclass for residential surveyors.

Tuesday 10th September, 1 pm
There is no doubt getting a complaint is horrible.

Hi, I'm Marion, and I've spent most of my career handling defect and valuation complaints and claims against surveyors.

As qualified professionals, complaints about what we do and how we do it can trigger what we value most as surveyors—our technical ability and professionalism. It can unleash an inner panic, validating any imposter syndrome we might have.

So, to get you started, I've created a new masterclass sharing what I've learned about complaint handling. Because the more empowered you are, the better prepared you will be.

And that's good for both you, your business and your client.

Got Questions?

  • When, where and how much?
The masterclass will be delivered live on Tuesday, September 10th, at 1 p.m. It will run for 60 minutes, but book 90 minutes out of your diary to allow for any questions at the end. The investment is just £97 to ensure this information is available to as many people as possible.
  • Is there a replay?
Yes, a replay and the resources are available for three months, but do try and join live if you can, as that is where you get the best experience. The content is limited for three months for two reasons.

Firstly, I like to keep my content up-to-date and relevant as I constantly evolve it.

Secondly, I want you to do something with it, and there is a risk it remains on your to-do list if you are not given a nudge or a deadline.
  • Who should attend?
Anyone interested in handling surveyor complaints can attend, no matter their level of experience. However, this masterclass is for individuals only.

As a small business, we operate a fair use policy for all our content and materials per our terms. We aim to price accordingly so that as many people as possible can benefit. If more people are likely to use and benefit from this content, consider purchasing multiple tickets or contact marion@lovesurveying.com to ensure you are not violating our terms.
  • What happens during the masterclass?
When you join using the Zoom link, your camera and audio will be turned off so that the session can be recorded for the replay. You can ask any questions you have using the chat function.

I will share and present my slides, and I will ask everyone attending to answer a couple of questions - it is not a test but a confirmation what I am sharing with you is understood.

After the masterclass, you will receive a link to the recording and access to the editable templates and checklists within 48 hours.
  • Does this count as formal CPD?
Formal CPD can be any form of structured learning with clear objectives and outcomes, such as a professional course, structured online training, technical authorship, or learning that includes an assessment measure.

If you attend or watch the recording on replay, you can log the session as one hour of informal CPD. If you utilise the resources, make improvements, and provide an update, this could be logged as up to two hours of formal CPD because you have taken action.
